“So tell me more about your husband and son. What became of the two of them?”
“Oh nothing you really want to hear.” Dorothy replied.
“Well you have gone through all the trouble to mend my cut so I have time, tell me about them.”
Jim did want to go but thought why not stay here and at least talk to her and maybe this will be enough conversation to last her for a while and besides the photo had captured his attention and he wanted more details.
“Well…I guess if you are up to it, but first lets get you fixed up and then I will boil some water for tea, is that ok?”
Tea, Jim thought, yes indeed that would be a nice change from coffee that he so much drank every day. Of course his body might reject it for not having enough caffeine in it.
“Sure why not.”
